A STAND: Malcolm X helped raise the plight of a racist housing policy in Birmingham

CIVIL RIGHTS leader Malcolm X will today be honoured with a blue heritage plaque in the Birmingham town where he campaigned to end its segregated housing policy.

Dr Martin Luther King Jr Tribute showcase January 2016

This Sunday sees Recognize Black Heritage & Culture sponsor the Dr Martin Luther King Jr. Tribute Showcase which comes to Birmingham Town Hall. Following the mantra of "aiming to inform, educate, inspire and entertain", Recognize will be presenting a visual representation of Dr King's life and work.
